Research Topic
M11 - How to personalize fidgeting tools using 3D printing on pre-stretched fabric for young adults?
M12 - How do children, between ages of 6 to 10 years old, perceive and engage with Soft Interactive Fidgeting Tools, and how do they evaluate their design and interactivity in relation to their personal stress coping preferences?

A two-semester trajectory that laid the foundation for my graduation project, exploring how 4D-printed textiles can support stress relief through subtle fidget-inspired interactions.
M12 focused on hands-on material exploration and early prototypes. User testing with university students revealed a clear need for elegant, emotionally grounding tools that fit seamlessly into everyday life.
M21 tested the same concept with children (ages 7–10), but the results reinforced young adults as the most aligned target group, appreciating both the tactility and aesthetic of the designs.
Together, these projects shaped the core problem statement for my thesis and guided the transition from raw experiments to a refined, human-centered product collection.
