Hi, I’m Ioana (but most people call me Ima)
I’m an industrial designer with a hands-on approach to material exploration, physical prototyping, and human-centered design. My work focuses on translating experimental processes, especially in textiles and emerging technologies, into tangible products, interactions, and concepts.
I’ve worked across 4D textiles, soft interaction prototypes, wearable technology prototyping, and user-centred product development. I enjoy working across disciplines and translating complex ideas into tangible outcomes, with a strong interest in tactility, behavior, and creating experiences that bring a sense of calm, curiosity, or comfort into everyday life.
