Speculative Fashion Futures

This project uses speculative design to imagine a future where urban foraging reshapes fashion into a seasonal and resourceful ritual. By working with natural materials like leaves, flowers, and feathers, the project challenges fast fashion norms and explores how nature and clothing can reconnect through slow, personal making practices.

My Role:
I designed and created two upcycled T-shirts representing spring and autumn, using natural dyeing and stitching techniques with foraged materials. Through hands-on experimentation and careful documentation, I explored the material limitations and poetic potential of urban foraging. Applying autobiographical and Studio methodologies, I deepened my ability to blend making and research while pushing myself to embrace speculative, open-ended design approaches.
